This corresponds to the previous photo, but is shot from the opposite side.

This shot give you a better understanding of the position of the screws from the 2nd 1x4 surface member into the 1st 1x4 support member. The screws are slightly offset from the center of the support 1x4 members so that the support member screw does not interfere with the surface member screw.
