Tools are important in removing the old wood on the back side of the deck. I remembered that I had an old antique 4 inch wide x 25.5 inch long heavy chisel. I thought what the heck can I do with this thing and thought I would never use it. But BINGO I had a job for it! Also had a 2 inch long chisel that could go where the big one could not reach and one of the hammers I will use on the 2 inch chisel.
