Boston Whaler - Rodholders & Console Cover
A local boatyard had a chunk of Sunbrella fabric that was so ugly (color) that they gave me a huge swatch practically for nothing. So, I had a friend sew up an equally ugly but very functional cover. It just drops over like a big bag. Needs no snaps or tie downs and I can trailer with it.

Regarding rodholders, I haven't yet figured where and what I want yet; so, I have placed rodholders on Sea Suckers. I love these things! I can move them all around, or even off the boat depending on need. You can see these-- sucking on the stbd. gunwale in this pic.

I don't understand the lack of handrails ... unless this is a freshwater boat only.

The idea of NO handrails or bowrails is deliberate, and one of the many reasons I wanted to design my own boat-- from scratch. They are a weak link, which bend and break with clumsy docking or clumsy guests. They keep you from getting into, or out of a boat easily. I now have some small rail hand holds on the center consule only for travel purposes.
