To support navigation as well as fishing, a Raymarine Axiom Pro 9 RVX Multifunctiion Display (MFD) replaced the previously installed Raymarine e7D MFD. The Axiom Pro RVX MFD was installed on a Johnny Ray quick release swivel mount and a RealVision transducer replaced the P58 50/200kHz transducer on the transom. The swivel mount permits the MFD to be rotated to face the bow when fishing. The swivel mount also permits the MFD to be quickly and easily removed from the boat to prevent theft. A marine electronics NMEA 2000 backbone was additionally installed, to which the MFD, heading sensor, and Suzuki engine gateway were then interfaced.
