The following photos show the placement of the hardwood cleats and machine screws utilized to assemble the mount. Note that the runners for the plywood locking key feature a notch to permit clearance over the norman pin. Finally, note the meranti plywood strips which were added to support fastening the Minn Kota quick release mount to the fabricated mount.
