13' Whaler Model Differences
A lot of members seem to be having problems knowing what year 13 model they have.
I am starting to gather some info to hopefully make it easier for people to see for themselves.
The first place to start is to look in the FAQ link on the left sidebar. Link
Find where your Stencil Number fits.
Also view the article on Smirkless vs. Smirked hulls. Link
Below you will also see the transition of the hulls for different years.

1970 and below
Blue Interior - Full Splashwell - Smirkless bow - Notched Transom for 15 inch short shaft motor
NOTE: 1970 was a transition year for sprue holes. Early 1970 models had the sprue hole in front of the bow locker cover.
Later 1970 models the sprue hole was in the bottom of the bow locker.
See this thread: Sprue Hole Location

1971 Only
Could be like the photo shown above or the photo shown below. This seems to be a major transition year.
Blue Interior - Full Splashwell - Smirkless bow - Notched Transom for 15 inch short shaft motor
Or
Blue Interior - Sink Type Splashwell - Smirked bow - Notched Transom for 15 inch short shaft motor
NOTE: All models 1971 and below came standard with Oar Locks Sockets from the factory. After 1971, Oar Locks Sockets were optional.

1972 Only
Blue Interior - Sink Type Splashwell - Smirked bow - Notched Transom for 15 inch short shaft motor

1973 and later
Desert Tan Interior - Sink Type Splashwell - Straight Transom for 20 inch long shaft motor

1978 and later
Larger Bow Locker and Cover
1978 - 19?? = 14 3/4" x 26 3/8" locker cover size
19?? - 19?? = 16 3/4" x 26 3/8" locker cover size
*Need photos and more info

If anyone can add any other visual differences in the hulls please let us know.
