2000 Dauntless 22, Newbie questions

Member Posts: 3 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/17/10	Hi all. I'm new here. I just purchased a 2000 Dauntless 22' with a 2000 Mercury Optimax 225 Saltwater. The boat has had it's fair share of the sun, especially the center console. As a result, I want to replace the gauge/switch panel, gauges, and throttle control. I know there's are newer version of the control, and I would like to use one of those (more modern, rounder looking). I see a Gen 1 and a Gen 2. Does anyone know which one I need? Where can I purchase a new BW switch panel? I imagine it will come plain and I have to cut the holes. Is this correct? I'm sure I'll have many more questions, but that's it for now. I just got it home, so the tear down begins tonight. The idea is to restore her to new condition. Thanks!
