Ran across a Nauset(owner thought it was a 66) that had no bow light,instead, had a light on either corner of the console...was this an owner mdification..I didn't see any traces of where an original light would have been and don't know if there was a major re-do on the interior. Anyone ever seen this kind of set up?
I didn't think so but haven't seen that many. The rub rail is black..my 68 is white...so am thinking the opening whre the bow light wires would have come through to the light has been filled in. If I get this can I replace the rub rail with the white and just run the wires aft underneath it? Would 12 ga wire be adequate for this length of run?
