I tried it on a piece of plywood, sprayed on and thinned slightly with Xylene. It really makes a beautiful gloss finish after the third coat. Just wondered if anyone used it and what the wear was like.
They make a topside paint found at Lowes home improvement stores. I used it with some non-skid additive in the restoration of a 40-year old sailing dinghy I did a few years back. Seemed pretty good. From experience, it's always best to try to restore gelcoat before going to paint.
