Just put on a new rubrail. Its OEM. Now my Bow Chock wont line up with the holes to reinstall. Do I have to cut the rubrail. I just had all my hardware re-chromed. Very bummed out.

What length and model are we talking about?

Is the rub rail replacement the same as the original?

Its a 1981 Newport. The rubrail is an OEM replacement. It came with that thinner piece that goes between the Hard rail and the outer rubrail. The new rail made it about a half inch off (further out) of the bolt holes.
