hi, where can i buy a factory wood bow hatch anchor cover for my 1967 boston whaler nauset? looking to restore. also have questions about spider cracks on my hull, can they be filled? are they just cosemetic? i compounded and waxed the hull yesterday, they are sealed but still there, should i be concerned?

You will need to buy either teak or mahogany and make it yourself. If you are not too handy with wood, I would recommend looking at some of the sponsors who work with wood.

I had to find a special wood dealer for teak and mahogany. It was not something your local lumber yard stocks. As far as a template, take the measurements from the exposed bow hatch.

I have a question why do you need special wood like teak or mahogany? It is just a bow hatch.

I had one made by Nautical Lumber and it came out great. I had them recess and stainless ring pull rather than a hole to keep the water out. Very reasonably priced.
