When out looking at a boat today, the owner said look over here, I have a 17' Guardian. Since I was looking at another boat, I didn't pay much attention. I didn't ask the year, but my guess is a 70's or 80's model. Did whaler make a 17' Guardian?
edmaude, could you email me a couple of pics. This one does not have the original console I know. It has been sitting for years, no trailer, in the guy's yard under trees (not much sunlight). Full of leaves, etc. He wants 2K for it just like it sits. I have no idea what it is worth.
The 22' Guardian is used by the Bay constibles near me, they used to bolt a v8 outboard to the back and use them as chase boats. Chase duty is now handled by the new police jet boats (FAST, and can get over the sand bars here).
