On the deck, port side near where the gunwale and transom meet (probably where a battery box was screwed to the deck) is a soft spot. When standing on the ground, boat on trailer and me pushing down on the spot, you can see water come up through the holes. What ALL does that mean, and how does one fix the problem?
Thanks
I have a 74 and that is where wood is located. I had to cut the wood out and it was soaked. Lucky for me, even though the wood was wet and rotted, the foam was dry as a bone just under it. See my personal page for pictures of how I repaired it.

Hi modenacart, thanks for the reply. So, after you cut the floor (deck) out filled, sanded, what did you do about getting the textured look back, or was that not a big deal?
I have ground off all the non skid so I think I will use grit in the resin. I have heard good things about repairing small sections but not good things about entire deck repair with molds. Maybe someone can give good advice about how to use one.
If you do it the way I did, try to leave as much glass as you can to bevel to lay glass on. I googled fiberglass repair and tried to watch and read as much as I could. I didn't get the ideal bevel amount to glass to, I just did the best I could.
