access what you have, decide what you want and figure out what is going to take to get there.

First job is usually a good cleaning to dind out what lies underneath.

do i remove and unbolt everything in the boat? gutting it. have many spider cracks and blue bottom paint that i would want to refinish all white again. its going to be a fresh water boat.

Yes sir you will need to get every thing out. But I suggest you spend a lot of time using the search function here first. You will find a lot on sanding and filling those cracks and painting or gel coating the interior.

I would make a "to do" list. Start to list repairs in order of priority and in a proper sequence. This way, you won't have to take something apart that was already repaired to conduct the next repair. As funds are available, make the necessary repairs.
