my switch panel has some issues ,right now i need a quick fix. the panel has 6 switches,2 are not functional,i have to hook up 1nav,running lights,2/a gps, fish finder,3bilge,4 courtesy lights,4compass light.can any of these be hook together or do i need to bite the bullet and buy a new switch panel.
AS A TEMP. FIX ONLY: nav. and comp. lite together, gps/fish finder by itself, THE BILGE PUMP by itself< starting load is too much to be coupled with another circuit. Courtesy lights = flashlight or two. ONLY AS A TEMP FIX!!! FIX ASAP!!! FIRE HAZARD! Use the right fuse on all cicuits. Don't just put a bigger fuse in

None of those things are pulling much unless the bilge is running a lot, but still, I'd pick up a new panel or put in-line fuses on everything and run them off a bus bar.
thanks for the advice ,went to local boat shops they wanted $110.00 --186.00 for 6 switch panel boards.i think i'll check out some online venders to see if i can save alittle money.
While I have been a customer of Blue Seas for their switch panels, if you want to save money, you can fabricate the a 6 switch panel with fuses for $90 +/-.
thanks for the help went to another shop they had the same one for $44.99 did not think they would price them so differently.problem solved now everything is working fine. i love this site
