Thanks for the heads up. I want a nice looking fishable boat. I don't mind the a GOOD paint job. This paint job is scratched and sun damage.
I found some sites that have info.
I'm still looking for a little bigger boat to up grade too. I have a 17 ft Montauk.

You will have to sand the paint off
And then have a critical look at what you are left to work with..
After having assessed the original gel, you will have the option to
1-restore the original gel coat.
2-re gel the whole boat.
3- Do a new paint such as Emron,Awlgrip or Craft.
This will be seen as a huge project BUT one filled with fun ,Quality Time and PATIENCE.
So make a careful decision.
