hello all. new here but definitely not new to whalers. Pfft

anyway i own a '79 15 sport that has been dry docked for about 6 years. it's been upside down on a large flat bed trailer at my marina.

well recently i got the bug to get back at getting it back together. well while assessing my project i noticed a soft spot about 1 ft. from stern in the dead center of the bottom. probably around the drain area topside.

the glass doesn't seem delaminated but you can just hear tapping on it that the foam must be gone. the rest of the bottom is rock hard.

now I've repaired a few upper decks with rotted balsa cores at work. i've used west systems epoxy in the past but have since switched to rotdoctor resins and sealers with great success.

but anyway i was wondering what everyone uses in my situation on the bottom?

stick with the same epoxies i've been using for upper deck repair or something else?
