fuel filter / separator reuse

Member Personal Page Posts: 66 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/31/09	i have a fuel water separator. i believe its fairly new, but have a feeling it might be nearly full of water. is it possible (or good practice) to remove them, dump the water, and if in fact it is clean, reuse the filter? (after fixing the reason the water is in there of course) ive already bought a replacement but i can save it for later.
