how do you mount the unit on your boat with out it kinking?

Please give us a bit more narrative as to the problem and the mounting location and fuel line routing.

What brand/model separator are you installing?

What exactly is kinking and where?

Using quality fuel line works well for me. If your having trouble with the fuel line kinking near the separator, you may have chosen a place for the installation that just doesn't allow the fuel line reasonable room to make a bend without kinking. Sometimes 90° fittings can be used on the separator to help keep the fuel line better positioned. Some cheap thin-walled fuel lines kink easy as well.

Mount it on the front of the well, Inlet on the Stbd and outlet on the port works good for me!!

Love the name..... Salmonrushkey. LOL!!

If you look at this persons first post post I believe it is a 19 revenge 1974 (banana hull) I was just trying to show the hoses that connect to the water separator that might kink.

A Fuel/Water separator cannot kink as it is made out of metal...
