why is there no drain under the fuel tank compartment on this model? periodically i have to vacuum out the water in there. also why is the plug at the stern filled with caulk? "befuddled" ?????????????

The water in the fuel tank compartment is a common complaint with this model. It does the same with my '91 16 SL but I haven't found it to be a big deal.
What stern plug are you saying is filled with caulk. I don't think that's the case with mine...
I too have to get the water out of the tank- mine is a 91 also. Wish they would have put a drain in there. My rear drains are all open though. do you have a picture?
