New Steering wheel on Old Style Shaft

I contacted Amy at Schmitt Steering and sned pics, she will get back with me. Any help from any of you will be helpful. It is a Kiekhaefer-Mercury Rotary Ride Guide #54130. Has anyone heard of these? Can the helm be replaced or am I looking at a complete new steering system: helm, bezel, cable and motor connection?
