After having given that some thought, I realize that Clear Lake is very shallow for the size of the body of water and I think that makes the waves' interval...distance between the crests...much shorter than a deeper body of water. Waves on the Bay may well be easier to handle with a longer interval. Does that make sense to anyone ? Mark
