hey guys, another question real quick. I was thinking about getting a bimini for my 1962 13' but it's a center consol modified for my fishing ...but with all my crap i have in the back (downriggers,steering cables, etc.) i don't want that thing folding back there. Is it possible to fold up front out of the way im wondering. Thank You...I put some pics of front/back maybe it will help.
One problem with folding to the front is the width. If you order one for the width of the bow or a little less and "stretch" it to fit midships then it should fold down forward ok without overlapping the gunwhale and getting hit during docking, loading, etc.. To get it far enough forward for stowing you could mount it on slides. I got mine thru iboats with aluminum frame, sharkskin fabric, slides, and cover for about $250 or a little less. It's been a great top.

Moose, do you fold toward the bow or stern? Do you have any pics sir? I didn't even think about how the bow was skinnier DOHH! If i folded in the back...would it fold down infront off all stuff i have you think?
