Why do you think you have a problem?

Will the motor not restart without pumping the bulb? Mine is never rock hard as some think they have to be at all times. If your bulb is lying on its side reroute your hose so the bulb is horizontal, This will allow the check ball to seat better.

How old is the fuel line ? The "check valve's" and "spring's" do wear out. You might want to buy a new "O.E.M" fuel line.

Yes it would and what I intended to say was That if the bulb were vertical ie with the arrow pointing up it will allow the check to seat.

Where is the bulb on the fuel line? It will work best if it is in a vertical position, and close to the engine.

That is flow and should be towards the motor. Pointing it up helps the little check ball to seat.
