Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 08/07/09	I AM RESTORING A 1964 WHALER. I HAD THE FIBERGLASS REPAIRED AND THE ENTIRE BOAT REPAINTED. I REMOVED THE OLD RUB RAIL AND ORDERED NEW RUB RAIL TO INSTALL. I HAVE TRIED TO ATTACH WITH CONTACT CEMENT AND IT WILL NOT HOLD. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO ATTACH THE RAIL WITHOUT USING SCREWS?

How was it attached to the transom? It tokk me a couple of goes at it, but I was pleased with the outcome. Patrick
