I have a 1989 outrage 20 with full transom and whaler drive. I want to replace the teak gunwale cap and have a question. I I am focused on the area where the teak side passes between the hull and the insert that created the three storage compartments forward of the full transom. I am wondering how the teak side is fastened in that area. Will I need to remove the insert in front of the full transom that creates the storage area to get the gunwale side teak off the boat? I looked inside the storage area and do not see any screws or bungs that are visible in the teak.

Thanks

Stephen
