I have the RPS in finally, gonna get the tank in place next. I added some 1.5 inch blocks to the base for height clearance, and did a search on this site for information on how everyone is mounting the tanks.
Using RPS, fuel line, and routing as keywords gets about 5000 hits, and a request to narrow it down. Tried a couple different keywords/combos and I get a lot of the same stuff.
Please bear with me as I ask a question for likely the thousandth time.
I'm putting in a 26 gallon moeller tank, and bought the metal hold downs that go with it to bolt it down. But still not clear about getting to the cap, if I hard mount it down. Also, I’m undecided about the fuel line.
Did most of you go through the tunnel?
If yes, did you drill a hole in the tunnel in front of the tank or in back?
What mounting are you guys using for the tank? I’m thinking straps might be better than hold downs.
I sent you a email pic. of my tempo tank if that helps I also have small teak blocks on the side of the tank. where there some indentations the pic dose not show.
