I ordered from Twin Cities Marine, a sponsor of this site. I'm not sure about the rivet size right now, but they were provided with the rubrail. You can also opt for screws if you like.

You fill fill carefully with a vinylester 3M filler all of those holes and sand down flush.
For the new rubrail installation,I would use stainless screws to fasten.
Do not forget to caulk all the fasteners for insulation purposes before tracking the rubber.

I will need to replace rub rail also (when the weather is warmer) and would like to use screws, not rivets. Can anyone suggest screw size, head style, etc...that works/looks nice.

Tx, Bill

If you order from Twin Cities they include the necessary screws.
