where is the boat in WI. I am in the twin cities. If it is on the Staint croix or on the western side of the state I may be able to scope it out for you

Well after much searching I have finally purchased a 1985 18' outrage with a low hr Johnson 150. I bought the boat from the original owner who purchased it in CT. It needs some cleaning, but appears to be in great shape. The owner relayed the whole history of the boat to me. I need to thank a few people who helped me through the process, Phil (cascobay outrage), Jeff, Nate, scraab, and most of all, Jim (scrimshaw) who found the boat. If I left anyone please forgive me as it is late. I will share pics as soon as I get around to unwrapping my new toy. Once again, thanks to all that helped out.

Scott, I read in a previous post about replacing the copper tubing. how do you get the tubes out? You have the tool?

Sounds like you got a winner HarleyFXDL. Congrats. Hope to see you at the Manhattan gathering.
I got my tubes out by using a screwdriver to bend the flange into the center. I just caught the edge and used my palm to pound on it until it bent in then smashed it with a pair of plyers until it would fit thru the hole. Then you can push it thru or grab it with plyers from the other side.
That was the first repair I did on my V20. Definatly a good idea to get that done right off the bat.
