Hi Scott, thanks for the link. I called the guy, along with 300 other people. Someone is stopping by this morning. If the guy doesn't buy it, I was told I have dibs on it. We'll see.

Good luck - It seemed like a good deal - but until you see them - who knows.

When you find the boat your supposed to buy, everything will fall into place. you will be the first to call, the price you offer will be accepted and you will drive home with the boat. Until that happens, keep looking.

To Scott and all who have helped, I thank you. It seems like a long time that I have been in search of my elusive Outrage. I guess it does not help with me having so many restrictions (east coast, year, condition, etc...) I do find it funny, in this economy, that I can't wait to part with my money! I truly believe money burns a hole in one's pocket! I think, to help ease the burden of not having a boat, I might pick up one of the many 13' Whalers I've seen for $2k. I feel it would give me something to mess with until an Outrage comes along.

Hi Bob, I saw it too. It has been for sale for some time. Kind of wondered why no one grabbed it up. I'm sure someone will chime in on this boat.

I guess no one has seen this boat yet. I have spotted two other outrages, a 1997 in Va and a 1984 in Wisconsin. Not sure about the drive to WI, the boat in Va is 7hrs........one way. I guess it is too much to hope to find a boat close.

I haven't looked at it Tom. It has been on CL for a long time and kind of turned me off. Usually if something is on there for a while, there must be something wrong with it. The boat is about 2 hrs away from me. At that distance I try to use common sense to avoid wasting my time and fuel. I would venture to guess A LOT of people have seen the boat and decided against it.

You're probably right..............There's not a Whaler Shopper nearby that can take a look-see for you.....From the photos it looks to be in good shape, but we all know how deceiving photos can be! Sad

Where is the boat in VA? If it's 7 hours from you it is potentially not that far from me

Twin 150's on a 21ft? That seems to be way over powered, anyone see this boat?

You'd definately be the first one at the fishing hole..............That looks like a pretty nice boat from you can see in the photos and the price looks in the range of being realistic

Kevin,

I went to http://www.midcoastyacht.com/

and did a search for Boston Whaler 17-21 ft in the USA and it gave me 139 hits and some looked good.
http://www.yachtworld.com/privatelabe...&ps=30

Happy hunting! It took me 3 years to find my sport15, and for what it was then I think I payed about $500 to much. But that does'nt matter now when the bass are bittingGrin!

Regards, Dave

Tom, Dave and Matt, thanks for the words of encouragement. It seems with the warm weather here, boat fever clouds one's judgement and patience. Smile
