I purchased a 2006 170 montauk with extensive hull damage. I contracted a glass repair mechanic, who flipped the boat and groud down the entire hull and filled all holes in the hull. He also restored the chines which were completely removed during the storm. The repair guy left the area after being served, however it looks like he did apply one layer of glass. He did not apply any mat. There are a few soft spots still. I am interested in finishing the repair myself. Could anyone give some advice on the correct procedure. I know this is a large project however I am capable.
