So she ain't a whole lot to look at, but at 39 years old who is. I love this boat.

Took the Nauset out to the lake Sunday with a buddy, fishing was slow so we went for a ride.

Nice and easy up to 5600 RPM, 39.1 mph on the GPS, 3 foot rollers because of the wind.

I was howling and yelling the whole time. Damn, I LOVE this boat.

Why did I take so long to get one?

I don't howl and yell. I just smile and laugh. It takes a while for the smile to go away after I'm off the water.

It's as exciting as getting a new bicycles on the first day of summer when school's out. It's just a lot harder to put Baseball card's in the spokes !

End of last season there was a big storm way off shore, our seas were flat with a 3' roller spaced every couple hundred yards courtesy of the storm. Jumping those rollers at speed was too much fun! Haven't done it since I was a kid, and the 22 lands a lot better than the old 13 did!
