I have a 1967 13ft. BW. The bottom was painted with black bottom paint because it was kept in the water by the previous owner.
I do not keep it in the water, I only trailer it. The paint is chipping and is wearing very thin, it looks real ugly.
Should I repaint it using anti fouling bottom paint even though it won't be kept in the water? Might look a heck of a lot better.
It depend's on how much "Messy" work you feel like doing, I'd be down at the marine store getting some "Interlux" black bottom paint, most of the boat's here on L.I. have "Bottom" paint, trailered or not, get her ready, boating season comes up fast.
