In the process of getting the boat(1983 Outrage 18) ready for the season (as is everyone else) and noticed 2 of the 5 drain tubes need to be replaced. I purchased the flanging tool, o-rings and 2 sections on 1" brass pipe. Problem I ran into is the edge of the hole(bow locker drain) is ragged and the gelcoat is damaged there,so the o-ring /flange will not completely seal off the hole. Suggestions??
Thanks.

By the time the ppolyurethane caulk you will use has been wiped off the O-ring and flange the exposed bit should be filled with caulk as well and it will be fine.
