My plywood seat base was attached to the Z-legs using T-nuts. I could not find stainless T-nuts so I epoxied ordinary stainless nylock nuts into the ( new (I was making a new seat ) plywood. Drilled holes and then used a small chisel to make the 6 sides. Smeared with epoxy and hammered the nuts in. From the top, nylock side up. Attach using reg. machine screw or bolt from the bottom.
