Hey everyone, ive got a 1973 whaler thats 16ft. 7in, would like to know the exact model, and any restoration ideas, tips, experience, etc. This is my first boat, and I want to restore her right, so all advice is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You have a 16/17 foot hull with aftermarket items. Nothing is original except the hull.

thanks, didn't know how to post link like that, but any idea on how to restore, and if I do restore originally will it be worth my time (financially)?

The inside area of the transom looks all wrong - I have never seen a Whaler look like that. Someone either severly modified that transom area or its a knock off. Not really sure. Maybe an expert will chime in.
