I need opinions on what is the best product to fill or level my fiberglass repairs prior to spraying new gel coat. I want to be sure I don't use anything that could potentually cause me problems in the future. This is on my 17' Montauk. Thanks
I`ve used the red spot putty from auto parts stores for years with no problems. On the boat i`m working on now I`ll try this Evercoat product. It`s supposed to be very good, and easy to sand. Available at Automotive Paint stores.
Thanks guys. I am using evercoat fibertech now it really does not need a putty when sanded but I have some scratches in the gel that would need the putty. Getting close another week or two then gelcoat.
