Hi,

i want to replace the missing tunnel plate on my 17' Montauk, but i'm not sure in what material to have it manufactured?

any good suggestions?

Nautical Lumber, sponsor on this site can make you one from teak. Many people myself included, have a plate but leave it off for easier access to the plug.

The sump cover was made of 1/2" Teak plywood on Montauks form 1975 to the early 1990s and synthetic material like Starboard after that.
