Hi Guys,
I've found when replying to someones post it would help to preview the orignal at the same time to be sure I am answering the question.
The work around I've used is to open another incidence of my browser so I can go back and forth.
Can this be done?

Hi Peter,
I'm not sure if that functionality is built into this CMS. I'll check it out and respond with something definitive.

cdnwhaler,
I have noticed the same thing and have done exactly like you did open another browser window and switch back and forth. I have also found something a little easier.
When you are replying to a post, just hit the back button on your browser to view the original post, then hit the forward button to continue on with your reply to the post. This seems to be the best way.
I have been on other forums where you have to scroll down to the bottom, and sometimes that is a long way down, and then back up to the top to continue on with the reply. You can also go page up and page down on that type of forum.
Anyway, try the back and forward button and see if that is a little easier.

Hi Joe,
I tried the back and forward technique a few times. Most times it worked fine but some not. In fact sometimes it threw me right out and I had to log in again. Which may not be too big of a deal if I'd simply remember to tick the "Remember Me" box!
And you're right, I've seen places where you end up scrolling forever to review the original. It's not much better with really long threads. I'll practice some more.
BTW Joe. I'll be in the Rockies on business later this week and next. I'll be picking up my new teak pulpit and RPS risers. Thanks for the help.

Take a look at the bottom of this thread and you'll see the "Quick Reply" box.
This should be able to be used for the majority of posts made. About the only thing I can see that is missing is the ability to place a headline on it.

Actually, no, I don't see a quick reply box?

It's back. Another change overwrote some of the code for the Quick Reply. Now it's on to fixing the problem caused by fixing this problem!

And obviously it works. It even put in the auto-signature.
