1984 Outrage 18 foam removal

Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/19/24	Refurbishing my 1984 outrage 18, the foam is water logged. Any tips on ways to remove the foam? And once I remove the foam will the hill have enough strength to be placed on a trailer to move it to add new foam? Thanks in advance for any guidance and lessons learned by you all with this projects.

Member Personal Page Posts: 610 Comments: 5 Joined: 07/06/08	I would also like to see where you are going to remove the foam. I have a 1985 that has been assessed as wet. The place that came to that conclusion recommended just "use the boat". If you do replace the foam, I would use 4# pourable. It is easy to use, but only allows about 30 seconds from mix to needing to pour.
