Hello,
Does someone know the true weight of this boat?
She´s supposed to be 1850 lbs.
Or can someone give me information about the waterline.
I would like to know if she has water inside.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.
Eric

There is no "exact" waterline.

Is the water line below, at or above the spashwell drains on the transom when the boat has a full fuel load and sitting empty at the quay?

I don’t have seen the boat on the water.
She’s ashore. I may buy her.

The antifouling is above the spashwell drains on the transom.

Is there something to check or to do ton know if she has water inside?

She is 3200 lbs with engine, and 16 fuel gallons.

I would estimate the weight should be:

Hull - 1850
Fuel (77 *6.5) 500
Gear 50
Cushions, rigging, battery 125
Anchor, chain, fenders, safety equipment 75
Engine with prop, fluids - 525
Total - 3,125 lbs

Given the Honda BF150 is a bit on the heavy side, the observed water line is a bit low BUT not terrible.

If the battery is in the splashwell (standard), moving it to the console will help attitute.

Is this boat near Brittany by any chance?

There are not many Outrage 20's in France so if the price is reasonable, I would suggest you buy it.

Thank you for your answer and advice.

The boat was weighed 3200 lbs:

Hull : 1850
Fuel (19*6.5) : 123
Gear : 50
Cushions, rigging, battery : 90
Anchor, chain, fenders, safety equipment : 75
Engine with prop, fluids: 500
Total : 2700 lbs

The différence is 500 lbs.
What do you think about this?

What about drilling holes in the hull in différent places to check if there is some water.
Is is useful?

The battery is not in the splashwell, and was moved to the console.

The boat is in Brittany, near Bréhat Island. Very nice place!

You're right, there are not many Outrage 20's in France.
The price is reasonable for France, but the fuel tank has to be changed, the gelcoat to be repaired and some original accessories are missing.

I am really interested that why I need advice to be sure not to have bad surprise.

Was the boat weighed at a proper scale or is 3200 a guess?

If the weight is from a scale, does the boat have all the items I include? Is the fuel tank full? Anchor, lines, fenders, tools.

Note the 1850 is a general number. The boat was made by hand so some were a little more. ~ 1925 lbs.

Drill holes in the deck is never helpful and just means they have to be fixed. I do not recommend this.

Change the drain tubes as a precaution) and run the boat.

Yes, the boat was weighed at a proper scale 3200 lbs with the items on board estimated:
Fuel (19*6.5) : 123
Gear : 50
Cushions, rigging, battery : 90
Anchor, chain, fenders, safety equipment : 75
Engine with prop, fluids: 500

Hull: 1850 lbs
Total : 2700 lbs

The différence is 500 lbs.
What do you think about this?

But you’re right, it’s a nice boat.
