I was down at my slip which is at a Whaler dealer. So I see new shrinkwrapped Whalers coming in regularly. Today there was a brand new 170 GDN, dated 2024.
Ok well I did find a Brunswick site that lists 210 and 250 Guardian -- but not 170. From what I could tell, it had a console way forward almost in the bow. Certianly not midships like you'd expect on a 170 MTK.
There is no more CPD/BCPD. While the website is still there, the business is not.
There have been some commercial orders for boats in recent years but they are all one-off's from the Whaler factory. These would be made in between recreational orders on the line.
Any of these boats are the exception, not the rule. The market went aluminum years ago.
