I recently joined this form to find more out about the 13ft whaler configs that have increased amounts of fiberglass on the bottom of the hull. Our 13ft (I don’t know what year it is) is primarily used for rocky beach approaches and due to this it has many holes at the end of each year in the keel. We’ve kind of gotten over filling all of the holes and after finding out about these reinforced models I think I might’ve found a solution. Do any of you Whaler experts know anything about these “upgraded”, primarily 13ft whalers? Thanks. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0dbqx...MiadiqQjDQ
Does this work for a photo? Also, please let me know if there is anything wrong with this post- I’m still figuring everything out.
While Whaler did product "work boat" models as well as the commercial/military versions via Commercial & Government Division (CPD) Group and later Brunswick Commercial & Government Products (BCGP), i do not recall these including the 13' hull.
Does your boat have the red dot adjacent to the side decal?
The side decal is long gone, but I’m pretty sure ours is not a ”special” hull in any way, especially considering the state of the bottom. Forgot to say the photo I added is our whaler.
