I'm new to this forum, and I would like to say in advance Thank you for any assistance that you can give me. I am currently looking for any and all information I can get about a 1968 Boston Whaler Menemsha 16ft that I inherited several years back. I have been using this boat as my back bay fisher for the past several years since my uncle turned it over to me. Now I will be retiring sometime in the next year and I'm considering making a restoration project out of it. The amount of labor that will be involved in this project mainly in the glass and gelcoat portion is what's going to determine if I take it on or sell it off. All of the hull exterior gelcoat is cracked up and will need to be repaired in some way. The upper cabin structure much like the hull has cracks all thru the glass. Under the cabin isn't in that bad of shape (mainly from lack of sun exposure). The built in porcelain toilet is all there and actually flushes. the flip up table / storage shelving is all there and not in horrible shape as is the rest of the console. The original seat support was gone when my uncle got it so he made a composite box that the seat sits on now along with a bench immediately against the back of the seat. The windshield is there and intact. Power is an old 1986 90hp Evinrude that still fires up and runs. Once I figure out how to post some picture I'll put them up. so any info on this rig would be appreciated. Thank you.
