I am looking at a late 80's 11' sport. The engine 30hp engine is mounted with 2 through bolts lower and 2 transom clamp screws above. both of the clamps appear to be overtightened and have cracked the transom around the clamp. Cracks are isolated around the clamps and there are no other cracks in the transom. Should this be of concern and or Repairable?

Not a structural issue, only cosmetic, and yes, the cracked gel coat can be repaired.
