I'm restoring a 1974 13' Sport, and am a bit torn as to the interior color to go with. Of course, 1974 was the first year the original factory color was "Desert Tan", but we really like the look of the older whalers with a light blue interior. Also, I don't know how to match the Desert Tan interior. A couple companies make "Classic Whaler Blue" paint, but nobody I'm aware of makes "Desert Tan", and the original gelcoat doesn't look like anything resembling tan of any description. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to either color I may be missing?
