I need to replace the 12" drain tube on my 1986 13' Whaler and I'm not sure of the best way to go about doing it. I've watched several videos and it is pretty clear to me how to replace it if you have easy access, but in my case the inside only has about 5" in the floor cutout where the drain is located. Adding to the complexity, the outside is on an angle.
The Montauk has the tunnel in front of the transom that makes it easy to insert the 12" tube from the inside. I'm not sure of the best way to approach this. What is the best way to replace this drain?
