Member Posts: 1926 Comments: 16 Joined: 05/02/08	In my 1979 Montauk, the teak bow locker cover is hinged (two narrow chromed hinges) at the front edge, and lifts straight up. This is the factory original installation. No other hardware is installed. This is for the trapezoidal shaped cover, used on the 1977 and later "smirked" hulls. For a 1974 model, using the original "smirkless" hull, the cover is rectangular and is unattached. Edited by Finnegan on 11/22/22 - 9:52 PM
