I own a sweet lil 2021 Montauk 150 w/full bow rail. I am interested in purchasing a trolling motor w/spotlock. Any suggestions? Thanks for your info! :) Fish On!!!!
It seems you are more interested in an easy way to remain in place more than being able to troll.
Your 150 Sport doesn't have a lot of extra real estate. If you add a trolling motor with a hover feature you will need to have a second battery and associated switches and wiring installed and to modify the bow rail. The modifications plus the cost of a feature laden trolling motor will be expensive.
If your fishing area is relatively shallow you can accomplish the same thing by installing a pole anchor bracket on the transom and using a wood or fiberglass pole to anchor. Another option is to use a mud anchor off the bow. Another anchoring solution is a "power pole" on the transom.
