Understand that Boston Whaler used the "MercAha" as late as early 2006 and then transitioned to the then new Veradito. I have been trying to locate clear photos of each to be able to distinguish between them. ALSO understand that with the MercAha ...Smartcraft Electronics could not be used ... but they were used once the Veradito was introduced to the Montauk 170. Is that correct?

Mercury introduced a new all-Mercury 90 and 115 for the 2006 model year.

If the engine in question is 2005, it is a Mercaha.

The all-Mercury engines from 2006 was Smartcraft compatible.
